It is a certificate given by the Sheikh to his/ her student stating that he/she has read all the Holy Quran from memory (by heart) with all Tajweed rules in a perfect way and became qualified to read It and teach It to others and give them this certificate as well when they meet the conditions.
As soon as the student obtains Ijazah certificate, his chain of transmission of the Qur’an will be connected to the Prophet(ﷺ).
Completing memorizing the entire Qur’an and the study of Tajweed rules from beginning to end according to one narration at least such as: Hafs an Asem (required).
The ability to read the Holy Quran from memory (by heart) with these rules perfectly without obvious or hidden mistakes in Hifz or Tajweed Rules (required).
Memorizing (Matn Tuhfat-ul-Atfal & Matn Al-Jazariyyah) in Tajweed Rules (preferred).
To start this course, you need to complete the Ijaza preparation course or pass the exam prepared for getting started with the Ijazah course.
A certificate of Ijaza with a Chain of Transmission connected to the Prophet (ﷺ) from your Sheikh stating that you have become a reader of the Qur’an by heart with all Tajweed rules in a perfectly correct manner, and qualified to teach the Qur’an (in one or more narration) with Tajweed rules to others, and to give them this certificate as well when they meet the conditions.
