It is a certificate given by the Sheikh to his/her student stating that he has read the Holy Quran (all or half or any particular part of it) – by looking in the Quran not by heart – with all Tajweed rules in a perfect way and became qualified to teach It to others and give them this certificate as well.
The certificate of perfection does not require memorizing (Hifz) of the Qur’an, but it is enough to read -by looking in the Holy Quran- with all Tajweed rules perfectly, therefore this course is appropriate for those who find it challenging to memorize the Holy Quran. yet they want to master its recitation and teach it to others so that they can fall under the Hadith of the Prophetﷺ : “The best of you is he/she who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.”
The certificate of perfection does not contain Connected Chain of Transmission with the Prophet(ﷺ)-unlike the certificate of Ijaza, but it is the permission of the teacher to the student to recite the Holy Quran and teach It to others after making sure that his/her reading is impeccable.
